The museum's venues at Palazzo d'Accursio are closed due to works of restoration. From November 18th, 2012 Museo Morandi is temporarily hosted at MAMbo, Bologna Modern Art Gallery, via Don Minzoni 14, where paintings, graphic works and book heritage have been reorganized with a new exhibition path.
Besides MAMbo (Modern Art Gallery), Museo Morandi (Morandi Museum), Villa delle Rose (Gallery) and the Museum dedicated to Ustica, the Istituzione Galleria D'Arte Moderna di Bologna (Institution of Modern Art Gallery of Bologna) has got a new space: the house where Morandi lived and worked almost all his life.
Modern Art Gallery
The Museum for the Memory of Ustica, realized by Christian Boltanski, was created through the dedication of Association for Relatives of the Victims of Ustica.

The original nucleus of the "Raccolta Lercaro" dates back to 1971, when four artists from Bologna (Aldo Borgonzoni, Pompilio Mandelli, Enzo Pasqualini,Ilario Rossi) donated some of their works to Cardinal Giacomo Lercaro (1891-1976), Archbishop Emeritus of Bologna, on the occasion of his eightieth birthday.
