Welcome is Bologna

Promenade a Bologna

Promenade of the Motor Valley

All of the motoring legends in 50 square kilometres. That might be the best way to describe the Motor Valley: the only place in the world where you can find legends such as Ducati, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Pagani, and the Imola e Modena racetracks, all at such close proximity.
The speedster promenade starts in Borgo Panigale where Ducati has been transforming cycles into poetry for over 90 years. The next stop is the Autodromo Enzo and Dino Ferrari racetrack in Imola with the Checco Costa Museum inside. Then off, across the Bolognese plain to Funo di Argelato, where art and technology meet to give way to the genius of Lamborghini. Onwards now, past the edge of the city of Bologna to the mythical Prancing Horse at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello and the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena. These are veritable institutions of Italian and global automotive excellence. And more: there's the prestigious Modena motorway and supercar builder Pagani Automobili.

Lamborghini

The history of 'Lamborghini Automobili' officially starts in 1963. Nevertheless, we must consider the far-off roots of this event, and they are the roots of Ferruccio Lamborghini. He started working on this project in late 1962, and by May 1963 he had already founded 'Automobili Ferruccio Lamborghini', buying a large plot of land in Sant'Agata Bolognese, about 25 kilometres from Bologna, to build a new large and ultramodern factory.
