Morandi museum's collection moves to MAMbo

From November 18th, 2012 you can visit Morandi museum's collection at MAMbo (via Don Minzoni 14) because it moves from Palazzo D'Accursio due to restoration works.
On the occasion of the opening of the new layout at Mambo, on Sunday 18th November the admission will be free from 11.00 am to 8.00 pm.
Morandi museum's collection includes paintings, graphic works and book heritage that show the artistic career of one of the great masters of the Italian twentieth century.
MAMbo that hosts Morandi museum's collection is the Bologna Modern Art Museum. With its permanent collection the museum traces the history of Italian art from World War II to the present day and with its 9,500 square meters, MAMbo is the main seat of the Istituzione Galleria d'Arte Moderna di Bologna, which also includes Villa delle Rose, Museo per la Memoria di Ustica, Museo Morandi and Casa Morandi.
