City of music

Music in Bologna is a world of its own.
Initially, it attracted great musicians, from Mozart to Farinelli, and Bologna was a much sought-after training destination. Today, it is the only Italian city recognized by UNESCO as a Creative City of Music.
Form the Mozart Orchestra directed by Abbado, to the Conservatorio and the University Music and Show Department, Bologna listens to excellence.
