Grafica italiana del Novecento nella collezione Luciana Tabarroni della Pinacoteca Nazionale di Bologna
29 January - 25 April 2016
Palazzo Pepoli Campogrande

The Bolognese collector Luciana Tabarroni (1923-1991) began her collection dedicated to the European graphics of the twentieth century since 1953. Organized through countries, the collection of nearly 2,000 works has the intent to represent the path of the different geographical areas not only through some important artists but also through some works considered representative. At Palazzo Pepoli Campogrande 104 examples of the Italian section are exhibited: graphic works by artists who made the etching at the highest levels.
Among others Boccioni, Severini, Russolo, Wildt, Martini, Soffici, Morandi, Carrà, De Chirico, Casorati, Savinio, De Pisis, Sironi, Bartolini, Viviani, Maccari, Munari, Capogrossi, Vedova, Fontana, Burri, Music, De Vita, Baj, Pozzati, Ceroli.

Etchings by Giorgio Morandi, part of the collection, are exposed also at Pinacoteca Nazionale di Bologna within the exhibition  “Giorgio Morandi. Incisioni dalla collezione Luciana Tabarroni”

Both exhibitions are curated by Elena Rossoni and Fabia Farneti
