The exhibition “Paolo Manaresi. I colori dell’inquietudine” (Paolo Manaresi. The colours of inquietude) at Raccolta Lercaro (2 April-2 July, 2017 EXTENDED TO 29 OCTOBER 2017) curated by Andrea Dall'Asta SJ and Francesca Passerini with the collaboration of Donatella Agostoni Manaresi,  celebrates Paolo Manaresi (1908-1991) - master in the art of engraving - who was one of the protagonist of the 20th century Bolognese Art.

Compared to previous events celebrating this artist, the exhibition at Raccolta Lercaro is quite unusual. In fact it features not merely Manaresi's extraordinary etchings, but especially the paintings mostly unknown to the general public.
About one hundred oil paintings, gouaches and pastels, most of them never seen before: a real revelation immersing the visitors in a wide time frame which ranges from the thirties to the early nineties, when Manaresi died.
