The Checco Costa Museum, located in Imola International Racetrack, hosts the exhibition "Imola ’50. Alle origini del mito" (Imola ‘50. The origin of the legend) from September 1st, 2017 to January 8th, 2018.

The exhibition tells the story of the origins of Imola Racetrack - officially inaugurated on 25th of April of 1953 - by evoking the very first motorbike and car races held on Santerno circuit: Coppa d’Oro Shell (Shell Gold Cup) for bikes and Gran Prix Shell for the cars.
A journey through the unforgettable ‘50s, thanks to the two and four-wheel legends that sped down the brand new track, with the purpose of rediscovering and remembering that moment in history in which everything began.
