In the Hanging Gardens of Porta Europa, for the fifth consecutive year, the summer festival of CUBO Gardens is back. Twenty-two appointments, with a lot of music - jazz, folk, classical - and theatrical shows ranging from the traditional cabaret to contemporaneity. Again: a tribute to the Sixties Sixty is sexy by the journalist Beppe Severgnini (June 27th) and a dialogue between Ferruccio DE BORTOLI and Enrico LETTA to reflect on the Italy and the Europe to come (6 July).

Music will open the summer season. The inaugural concert by NADA with A TOYS ORCHESTRA on June 13th will be followed the rockabilly of THE-DI-MAGGIO CONNECTION feat. GREG (June 15th), then the sound of TIROMANCINO in an acoustic set (July 13th) and the soul of Tony MOMRELLE special guest Sarah Jane Morris (July 27th). For the cycle "Music & Words" conducted by Franz CAMPI, two great songwriters tell about themselves between words and music, Enrico RUGGERI (July 11th) and Angelo BRANDUARDI (July 20th). Moreover, more pop music with the EXTRALISCIO in Punk by balera on August 29th and DIROTTA SU CUBA on September 7th.

This year, CUBO Gardens jazz program proposes four appointments not to be missed. It starts on June 22nd with BLACK ART JAZZ COLLECTIVE, a collective gathered to celebrate the great Afro-American musical tradition, then with the drummer winner of four Grammy Award Antonio SANCHEZ & MIGRATION (July 18th) and then with a true icon of the jazz world Peter ERSKINE and the DR.UM BAND (July 25th). The last jazz date is Canzoni in punta di jazz with some of the  most representative Emilian musicians Silvia DONATI, Jimmy VILLOTTI, Alessandro ALTAROCCA, Ares TAVOLAZZI and Eliade BANDINI (August 24th)

For the lovers of more classic notes, the stage of the Gardens will host four famous chefs for the cycle "The taste of music" will tell to Massimo MONTANARI, one of the most important scholars about nutrition as well as professor at the University of Bologna, about their relationship between classical music and food. It starts on June 29th with Carlo CRACCO, followed by Alfonso IACCARINO (July 4th), DONPASTA (September 5th) and on September 12th Gualtiero MARCHESI. Each meeting will be gladdened by classical music played live.

Two appointments with comedy, on June 20th Raul CREMONA in Non plus ultra and August 3rd Enzo IACCHETTI in Confidential Interview. On  August 1st a light and ironic talk show conducted by Fabio CANINO tells about planets in the Summer horoscope with the Astrologer Marco PESATORI and the musical interludes of Stefano NOSEI. Between literature, theatre and music, the appointment on August 31st  is called The words and the sea, a journey toward the unknown with Lino GUANCIALE, Alessandro VANOLI and Simone TANGOLO.
