Galleria Cavour Green
setting and events till October 2015

Walking in Galleria Cavour is now a pleasant path through a green scenery that aims to recreate integrations between the agrarian landscapes and Galleria Cavour spaces. The sceneries proposed to the visitors are the result of a non-stop environment evolution, which adapts itself to the territory metamorphosis. There, people can admire lemons and tangerines plants from Southern Italy, surrounded by sheaf of wheat and by a very rare and precious Acer Palmatum bonsai, a nearly 100 years old plant, which has been cultivated by at least four generations of nurserymen. Then there are the Padana Plain typical cultivations alternating sunflowers, rape and wheat; to follow, corn, sorghum and medical grass, up to flowered fields and beetroots. In Galleria Cavour there are also big and spectacular Cycas, very old plants, with a palm look: they are between 70 and 150 years old.

Galleria Cavour Green includes a six events calendar focused on the food connected to the culture and to the related Italian food production: these events are directly and contemporarily linked to the six issues to those of Milan Expo. The event is called EXPOinBO.

On Saturday 12th September Galleria Cavour opens the doors of its new Lounge hosting a SANA City event: an original cultural gathering where Guests can appreciate some of the best Emilia-Romagna Region Bio products, which will be shown and explained by a few producers, certify experts and representatives of some of the best biological organizations.  The event will be held in Galleria Cavour Lounge from 6 pm to 9 pm, in collaboration with Confagricoltura.  Free entrance and tasting of the best specialties of the area.
