Flavio Bertelli
Armoniose visioni di natura
1865 - 1941
Bologna, Palazzo d’Accursio, Sala d'Ercole
13 December 2015 > 10 February 2016

The retrospective exhibition organized in the Sala d'Ercole of Palazzo d'Accursio is dedicated to the Bologna's painter Flavio Bertelli (San Lazzaro di Savena 1865 - Rimini 1941), from 13th January to 10th February 2016 with free admission and closed only on 25th December and 1st January.
Son of the famous Luigi Bertelli, Flavio becomes popular as the only pointillist artist in Bologna's scene, together with Alessandro Scorzoni. His paintings are reworkings of his personal perception of nature, a balanced emotional synthesis between symbolism and naturalism.
The retrospective exhibition by Flavio Bertelli, curated by Stella Ingino and promoted by the Associazione Bologna per le Arti, includes over 70 works of the painter coming from Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio in Bologna, from MAMbo - Modern Art Museum of Bologna and from private collections.
It is under the patronage of Ministero dei Beni e delle Attività Culturali e del Turismo, Regione Emilia Romagna, Comune di Bologna and Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna.

From January at Cappella Farnese within “Dialoghi Culturali a Palazzo d’Accursio”, a series of conferences will analyze the themes of the exhibition.
