DragPennyOpera: pop opera, strong comedy by the Nina’s Drag Queens loosely based on “The Beggar's Opera” by John Gay
It's dawn. In the courtyard of a prison, under the scaffold, there are five persons. They are waiting for the execution of the gangster Macheath. They are the women of his life. They will animate this story: five characters who love, betray, steal and kill, five women who use each other.
