Three days to discover that Bologna is a garden. Diverdeinverde is back from from May 20th to 22nd, 2016. During the weekend, a great number of Bologna private gardens will exceptionally open to the public, revealing many hidden green treasures both in the city and in the surrounding hills.
At its third edition this year Diverdeinverde - organized by Fondazione Villa Ghigi, is going to open 47 gardens in total, nine of them for the first time.

Admission to all gardens is possible with an individual pass which costs 10 euros. It can be purchased at: Bologna Welcome (piazza Maggiore 1/e – tel. +39 051 6583111), at Natura Sì (via de’ Toschi5, via Po 3, via Montefiorino 2 e viale della Repubblica 23 in  Bologna – via Porrettana 388 in Casalecchio di Reno – via Emilia 234 in San Lazzaro di Savena), at Unopiù (via Larga 6, Palazzo Unipol), and at Flò Fiori (via Saragozza 29).
During Diverdeinverde days it can be also bought in Orti di Orfeo (via della Braina 7), Palazzo Hercolani (via Bersaglieri 2), and Casa Masetti Zannini  (via Cà Selvatica 4).

Diverdeinverde presents a calendar of side events too. Among them: Quattro passi con Rossini the concerts proposed by Teatro Comunale di Bologna – for instance at palazzo Davia Bargellini on Sunday, May 22 11,30am or at Villa Hercolani on Saturday, May 21 8pm - reservation required; the readings Ad Alta Voce organized by Coop Alleanza 3.0; the conference-photo story on May 20 by Ian Kennaway, the coordinator of London Open Garden Squares Weekend for a long time.
