At Biblioteca dell'Archiginnasio, from 19 March to 19 June, a special selection of documents, books, photographs, maps, tells the history of the Municipality of Bologna from ten keywords.

Ten words to evoke the most important moments, century by century, of the social, cultural, political and economical life in Bologna, since 1116 to today, in order to reading the past in the light of the aspirations and problems of the present.
From autonomy in the twelfth century to democracy for the twentieth century, through participation, manufacture, knowledge, innovation, territory, reason, independence and ending with the word accessibility, chosen to indicate the major challenges by which the contemporary world is confronted.

The exhibition is curated by Biblioteca dell'Archiginnasio with the cooperation of the Archivio Storico Comunale and the Fondazione Gramsci Emilia Romagna and it aims to celebrate the 9th Centenary of Comune di Bologna (Concives 1116 - 2016), whose autonomy is traditionally dated back to 1116.
