Each poster amazes with a breathtaking photograph of one of the sky marvels, not only describing the nature of its subject and its importance for our understanding of the Universe, but also the photograpic techniques which made it possible to take such an image by amateur equipments - which also means: mainly thanks to hard and time consuming volunteer job. Images are not only as beauty: they also represent a mean of active research, usually helping the professional research but sometimes by overriding it in discoveries. Historical instruments from both the Club and the ancient “Museo della Specola” of Bologna University are exhibited. In the weekends, hands-on activities, skywatching by telescopes and intriguing conferences are also in the programme.
