In the Samoan language, the word "fa'afafine" defines those who do not identify themselves in one sex or another, and who enjoy consideration and respect. Alex does not live in Samoa, but he also wants to be a "fa'afafine".
The project leads to the realization of a professional theatrical path with disabled people. Enrico Casale structures Faustbuch right around the relationship with Andrea and Michael, actors with disabilities.
This show, through a story perhaps of love between actors and audience, explores the search for a balance between the mutual willingness to let themselves be understood, surprised, listened to: in intimacy.
