Admission and guided tour of Casa Artusi, the food and wine cultural centre devoted to the Italian home cooking tradition. Finally, lunch at the Restaurant of Casa Artusi, with a menu based on Artusi’s recipes and dishes. In the afternoon, return to Bologna.
In the morning, private car transfer and tour of a Parmigiano Reggiano D.O.P. production factory. Parmigiano Reggiano is a prized cheese that is still produced by master cheese makers in the same areas, with the same rituals and the same ingredients as nine centuries ago. To follow, a tour of a vinegar cellar to discover the production cycle of the Modena Traditional Balsamic Vinegar D.O.P., a condiment without peers in the world for very high gastronomy. Finally, transfer and tour - including a light tasting - of a Parma ham D.O.P. production company. This ham is one of the most distinctive and best known Made in Italy products.
