Agricola was a Jewish aristocrat of the Christian religion and Vitale, a freedman, was his servant. They lived during the 3rd century A.C. and died during the persecutions of Diocletian in 305 A.C. in the vast Bolognese arena. They are saints and were among the first martyrs of the city history. The itinerary travels through the fundamental stops of their life by visiting three fascinating crypts, sites that are partially not accessible to the public. We will take a good look at the place where they lived, the place where they suffered martyrdom, the place where they were buried.
