At Urban Center Bologna you can learn about the main policy initiatives and projects that are transforming the city and the metropolitan area of Bologna.
Here citizens, and representatives of public institutions, associations and the economic and social worlds can meet and discuss urban and metropolitan area projects.
In the "sala Atelier" and "sala Esposizioni", you can view exhibitions, participate in meetings, lessons, workshops, seminars and laboratories, and also read and learn about the future of the city.
Urban Center Bologna is also many other things: contests, publishing products, participation processes, communication activities and collaborations.

The completely renovated, permanent exhibition at Urban Center Bologna, displays the urban, environmental and promotional policy initiatives of the city, and the most important urban renewal projects that are either in progress or planned.
There are expositive panels but also multimedia spaces and interactive systems.
At the centre of the exhibition you can explore the metropolitan territory of Bologna in a large scale model (model scale 1:4.000) animated by colour projections that provide information and data (created by LaMo - Laboratorio Modelli di Architettura, Dipartimento di Architettura Alma Mater Studiorum, University of Bologna - Cesena).

Urban Center Bologna is managed by a Committee formed by the main groups and institutions involved in the transformation of the city and its hinterland and in the promotion of the "Bologna system".
