This name was originally given by mistake to Conserva di Valverde, the water tank of Valverde.
This water tank was built by Tommaso Laureti, an architect from Palermo, during the Renaissance, to supply the Fountain of Nettuno.
It is composed of a big octagonal tank, four channels and three tanks to collect water. There is also a beautiful chimney entirely covered by limestone.
It has no relation with the thermal use.
